Blue Shaddy have brought their high –energy brand of stomping surf, blues and roots, from their hometown of Kellerberrin to festivals right around the country. With family bonds running deep within the band, consisting of two brothers one long time friend and wife, and a son of friends they have watched grow up over the years, you can say they are firmly connected. The outfit have a reputation as one of the most downright entertaining acts in the country. Known for their infectious amalgam of blues /surf come country/ hillbilly that leaves you with a new found energy and a broad smile.
With a 20 year anniversary looming, it doesn’t look like things are about to slow down anytime soon. With a bevy of new tunes, pre production is in full swing on what will be their 5th studio album set for release later in the year. Through thick and thin, up times, down times 'Blue Shaddy' have managed to maintain a passionate and unwavering commitment to their music and enjoy nothing more than sharing this with their fans and trying to involve their audience in the foot stomping whirlpool that is Blue Shaddy. Do you remember being swept away with their adventures and being delighted by their antics ? With it's huge range of marionettes, worked by strings from above, the puppets, which have been lovingly hand carved, spring to life bringing joy and laughter to delighted audiences wherever they perform.
After a really successful visit to the Ag show last year, the Bubble Muffin team are back in 20156with their Kids Cooking Club Healthy Bodies Program. If you are between 5 and 12 come and join in one of the practical cooking shows throughout the day on Friday and Saturday and learn some healthy, fun cooking tips. This year's theme will be cooking with Pulses. A great opportunity for all those budding chefs out there to practice their skills, or to encourage your kids to think about healthy eating.
